Article on managing your account settings, including changing preferences.

You can update your account details and preferences on the account page. When signed in, click on ‘Account’ at the top right of the homepage.

General account settings

You can choose a username for your account. The username will appear on any timelines you create.

You can also update your email associated with the account.

To ensure the changes are saved, click on the ‘Update’ button at the bottom of the page.

Public profiles

There is also the option to add text to your public profile for your account. This is only viewable by other users that are logged into Timetoast.

In the profile box, you can add some information about yourself that will be displayed publicly on Timetoast. You can use simple HTML in your profile, such as a link to your website.

To view your public profile, click on the ‘View your public profile’ link on the right hand side of the General account settings page.

To ensure the changes are saved, click on the ‘Update’ button at the bottom of the page.

Changing your password

To update your password, enter the new password, confirm the new password and enter your old password. Remember to click on the ‘Update’ button at the bottom of the page to save the changes.

Resetting your password

If you’ve forgotten your password or need to reset your password, go to the forgot password page.

Fill in your email address to receive password reset instructions.

Preferences

You can change your preferences, such as: profile privacy, notifications, communications and date input preferences.

Premium account owners can also choose to enable or disable publish content capabilities for their account members.

You can also opt in to get early access to new features before their general release. Try the latest updates and help shape our improvements.

Selecting and changing the date input format is also found here. You can select the date input format that makes the most sense to you, whether it's day, month or year first.
